WhizCut’sWhiz-Twintoolholderis a twin-edged, narrow, Y-axis parting off insert that helps reduce waste material and provides cutting-edge stability, enabling users to drop chips straight in the bin. The Y-axis holder turns stringy chips down and away from the part, while the coolant forces the chips down. It features a short overhang and a small toolholder head, making room for more tools. It is designed to provide a strong, stable cutting edge.
The strength and increased stability of the cutting edge is maximized with two cutting edges at the front. This enables the toolholder to be clamped in a more stable position with a shorter overhang from the toolholder plate, thereby reducing instability and vibrations which are the main challenges when parting off.
