Hirsh Precision Products精密制造,航空航天,医疗device and scientific industries, has expanded from its Boulder, Colorado, location into a 65,000-square-foot facility in Frederick, Colorado. The company says this milestone signifies a critical stage for Hirsh Precision and its long-term plan for growth.

The expansion into the new facility is a result of its collaboration with the town of Frederick, Weld County and Upstate Colorado Economic Development. In addition to pursuing its goal of becoming an industry leader in American manufacturing, Hirsh Precision also aims to bring well-paying jobs to the area, relocate 90 jobs to Weld County and leave a significant, economic impact on one of Colorado’s fastest growing counties.

“In order to meet the needs of our growing customers, Hirsh Precision needed to significantly expand its manufacturing space,” says Mark Cartwright, facilities coordinator at Hirsh Precision. “We were attracted to the town of Frederick and Weld County due to ease of access for transportation, proximity for our employees and the economics of the area.”

Relocating a business is definitely a daunting proposition, according to Cartwright. “But the assistance and support that we have received from the Town of Frederick and Upstate Colorado Economic Development has been tremendous,” Cartwright says. “They helped educate us about the numerous benefits offered to businesses, as well as explaining opportunities where our company can engage with the community. This partnership has been extremely helpful and a positive experience.”

This news also comes in the wake of other important initiatives the precision manufacturer has set in motion within the last year, including expanding itsautomated manufacturingcapabilities; offering in-house metal finishing to its customers; increasing its complex assembly and inventory capabilities; and earning AS9100D certification.

Hirsh Precision’s new headquarters in Frederick will enable it to continue growing its manufacturing capabilities, create training areas for developing the next generation of the manufacturing workforce and position it for its next stage of growth.
